Live at the Winspear is proud to present singer-songwriter Martin Kerr.

Martin Kerr is no longer just a hidden gem – he's a rising star, captivating legions of new fans around the globe with his raw, heartfelt music and unique storytelling. After years of performing as a street musician in 35 countries, Martin took the leap into the mainstream, signing with Nettwerk Records and released a flurry of new work, including his latest EP 'After The Apocalypse'. With a sound that has been described as a blend of James Taylor and Radiohead, Martin's music resonates on both a deeply personal and universal level, exploring themes of love, loss, and the world's most pressing issues, all with a touch of his signature British humour.

In 2024, Martin not only opened for Dermot Kennedy, Walk Off The Earth, Blue Rodeo, and The Strumbellas, and performed at festivals across Canada, but he also went viral on social media. His song God Rest Ye Merry Billionaires was shared by Hollywood stars, while Away In Bomb Shelters was adopted as a peace anthem by groups around the world.

With his career growing exponentially, Martin is setting his sights on 2025 as the year it all comes together, with new music on the way and even bigger adventures on the horizon. If you haven't yet discovered Martin Kerr, now is the time – his electrifying presence and thought-provoking music are nothing short of extraordinary.
