Carmen’s work typically reflects her love of Metis floral designs. She has taught extensively in Alberta, Canada’s North and Eastern Canada. Tufting produces three-dimensional images by stitching and trimming bundles of selected hair on a backing. This art form is another example of the Indigenous value that nothing goes to waste.
