Mountain Air is a new acoustic music EP by Harry Bartlett.
“Mountain Air is presented with a delicacy combining classical, string band and jazz elements.” Ted Parkinson (The Whole Note)
Following his debut record Wildwood, which “blends Jazz, Folk, and Western music styles” (Midwest Book Review), Harry moved to Nashville to deepen his knowledge of old time and folk music, where he has studied with esteemed bluegrass guitarist Jordan Tice and collaborated among a rich network of folk musicians in the Tennessee area.
These experiences have redefined how Harry approaches the acoustic guitar. While his music is still grounded in the methodology of jazz improvisation, Mountain Air offers clear shades of bluegrass, old time, and folk styles.
