International Women's Day, March 8th, is a day established by and for women in the front ranks of all movements of the working class and people who are fighting for rights.

The annual IWD banquet hosted by Women for Rights and Empowerment has become a treasured event where we inform each other, celebrate our resistance, strengthen our commitment to be there for each other, and affirm our claims as women to have a say in all the affairs of society and to build a better world.
