What could be more romantic than bringing you some of the greatest love songs of the 20th century with Edmonton's best big band just around the corner from Valentine's day?

Enjoy a moonlit evening out in the heart of downtown Edmonton, listening to live versions of the heartrending recordings of Johnny Hartman, Nat and Nathalie Cole, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stevie Wonder, and more! This project is supported by the Edmonton Arts Council, the City of Edmonton, and the Edmonton Downtown Business Association.

The Don Berner Big Band is the city of Edmonton's flagship large jazz ensemble. An Edmonton jazz favourite for over a decade, the Don Berner Big Band became the first professional large jazz ensemble in Edmonton to have a fully programmed concert season in 2021. Featuring Edmonton's best jazz musicians, the Don Berner Big Band presents an eclectic season drawing from classic big band and swing repertoire, collaborations with contemporary and pop artists, adaptations of works from other mediums, and more with a variety of special illustrious guests, all presented in the acoustically stellar Triffo Theatre in Downtown Edmonton!
