Superstar violinist Timothy Chooi performs Bruch’s vibrant Scottish Fantasy for Violin, a work bursting with energy that was based on four folk tunes the composer found in a collection of Scottish music.

Tchaikovsky’sSymphony No. 4is bursting with rich, emotional moments, and features a charming pizzicato movement. Canadian composer Linda Catlin Smith describes her piece as "creating different shapes and atmospheres out of which melody could arise, like a constantly shifting tableau.”
