Join us as we honour Canadian Women of African Descent in a grand celebration for Black History Month. Together, we’ll celebrate achievements and inspire future generations.“Celebrating Our Roots – Black History Month 2025” is a vibrant and engaging evening event organized by When African Women Talk.

This event aims to celebrate the rich history, culture, and contributions of the Black community in Alberta. Highlighting the theme “Roots in the Diaspora,” the evening will be a celebration of identity, empowerment, and community through a mix of multimedia presentations, live performances, and thought-provoking discussions.
