An inspiring documentary screening that celebrates the enduring legacy of Dr. Gordon Hirabayashi. This powerful film highlights his courageous stand against injustice during WWII and his transformative contributions to human rights in Canada, including his pivotal role in securing redress for Japanese Canadians. Through his work, Dr. Hirabayashi championed justice and equity, leaving an indelible mark on Canadian society. Presented as part of the Gordon Hirabayashi Anti-Racism Project, this event is a call to action for a more inclusive future.
