Get ready for a night of laughs and creativity at the Grindstone Theatre School's Alumni Cabaret & Fundraiser! We're rolling out a fantastic lineup of Sketch Comedy, Stand-Up, Improv, and Musical Improv performances—all in celebration of Grindstone Theatre School and to raise funds for sustaining, improving and expanding theater education program offerings!

The Grindstone is a vital non-profit hub for theatre and performing arts in central Edmonton. The Grindstone Theatre School is a department of the Grindstone Theater Society which fulfills our charitable objectives by aiming to educate the public in theatre practice, technique, and performance through rehearsals, workshops, and classes. At the same time, we’re all about preserving and promoting excellence in the Canadian theatre industry by providing more accessible facilities where artists can train and create, especially in areas where such resources are tough to come by.

But we can’t do it without your help! Your support will help us shimmy towards being able to facilitate educational programming subsidies, expand our class locations, continue growing operationally and keep the laughter and learning in full swing.
