Join us for the season opener of Foote in the Door's 11th Season! Set Sail for Adventure with “The Pirates of Penzance”!

Get ready for a rollicking good time with Gilbert and Sullivan's classic operetta, “The Pirates of Penzance”! This delightful and comedic romp takes you on a swashbuckling journey through the high seas and British shores, brimming with unforgettable melodies, charming characters, and witty wordplay.

The story follows young Frederic, who, having completed his apprenticeship with a band of bumbling pirates, discovers he is bound by a peculiar technicality to serve them for another 63 years. Amidst romantic entanglements, hilarious misunderstandings, and a series of riotous escapades, Frederic must navigate his way through love, duty, and pirate lore.

Featuring iconic songs like "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General," this operetta combines sparkling satire with exuberant performances and lavish costumes. Perfect for all ages, “The Pirates of Penzance” promises a memorable theatrical experience filled with laughter, romance, and the adventurous spirit of pirate life.Join us for an evening of musical delight and high-spirited fun—where the pirates are charmingly inept, the romance is delightfully tangled, and the laughs are as plentiful as the treasure!
