Stephanie Urquhart (she/her) is a mixed-race pianist and composer.

Her spontaneity and sensitivity on the piano has been called "engagingly joyous" and "so thoughtful and expressive." (Charlie Austin). She has been hailed for "putting the surprise factor back into smart, new original music." (Edmonton Journal). In 2023, Stephanie became the inaugural recipient of the Salle Bourgie Mentoring & Debuts: Rising Star Award for Jazz Piano in Montreal.

As a stylistically diverse musician, Stephanie has collaborated with and written commissions for a variety of Edmonton and Montreal groups including: River City Big Band, MacEwan Generations Big Band, Alberta Musical Theatre Company, and McGill Jazz Orchestra I. Stephanie has released several albums as leader/co-leader with modern jazz group Stephanie Urquhart Quartet and video game band Experience Points. She currently teaches at MacEwan University's Music program and has also taught at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity for their Creative Music program.
