Participants will paint fabric to create book cloth using paste and acrylic paint.

By using tools such as palette knives, brushes, stencils and combs, various pattern and textures can transform plain covers into decorative textured surfaces.This technique will also be used for the inside paper pages of the book. Pages can be further embellished with cheesecloth, collaged papers or threads to create a truly one-of-kind journal. No prior experience with bookbinding is needed.
