Join nationally renowned medical leader Dr. Craig Earle as he delivers his lecture, Shaping a Pan-Canadian Future for Cancer Care. Dr. Earle is the CEO of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, medical oncologist at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto, a senior scientist at ICES and a professor of medicine at the University of Toronto.

His lecture will discuss the pan-Canadian approach to important priorities in cancer, including advancing prevention, screening and care, and improving outcomes consistent with the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control. His extensive background includes training and practice in Ottawa, a decade at Harvard Medical School, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and the Harvard School of Public Health, and leadership roles at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain insights from a leading expert in cancer care.

This event is the third in the Chancellor Speaker Series. The series aims to inspire discussion and thought around issues that are important to the chancellor, Dr. Anthony Fields, as well as the communities MacEwan serves.

The Chancellor Speaker Series supports the Chancellor’s Scholarship Series program, rewarding students for their academic achievement and providing financial resources to assist in continuing their education. Pay what you can registration fees (not tax-receiptable) will go directly to supporting this scholarship series for MacEwan students entering a degree program.
