Markus Lentsch is the owner and winemaker of Seegut Lentsch. When Markus joined the family estate, he took over the winemaking and coordination of the winery. He started with a clear goal: to bring more sustainability to the winery from what already existed in the past while maintaining the high-quality standards passed along to him by his parents.

Guests will learn about the philosophy and history of Seegut Lentsch winery with three generations dedicated to the cultivation and production of high-quality wines with passion and devotion. Ranging from 3 core wines launched at Wine & Beyond Alberta stores this past June, as well as 2 new wines to be showcased. With the goal to educate about great quality Austrian wines (Qualitätswein) and the significance of how the Neusiedlersee region shaped the identity of Seegut Lentsch.

Tasting will include a refreshing Rose from indigenous red variety "Blaufränkisch", a fruit-forward and elegant Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), an easy-drinking characterful and pleasant Zweigelt, a complex and powerful Cabernet Franc, and finishing with a great (moderately) Sweet Red dessert wine.
