Jo-Ann Wallace was a popular and highly respected Professor of English and Film studies at the UofA, chaired the University's Women's Studies programme, edited the scholarly journal English Studies in Canada and produced a lifetime of work on feminist themes.

Among her many projects was a memoir-writing group, in which she produced the work that would become A Life in Pieces. Following Jo-Ann's passing in June of this year, the book was published posthumously. Join Jo-Ann's friends, family and admirers to celebrate her indomitable spirit, marvelous humour and beautifully lived life, immortalised in this equally beautifully crafted memoir.
