It's back and it's bigger than ever. The Canadian Finals Rodeo is riding back into the city where it all began in 1974.

The Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) first started in Edmonton in 1974 at the Edmonton Gardens. It was such a popular event that it moved to the Northlands Coliseum the following year. The CFR was held in Edmonton until 2017 when it moved to Red Deer.

Explore Edmonton, in collaboration with our partners, have worked hard with the Canadian Pro Rodeo Association to bring CFR back to Edmonton for 2024, 2025 and 2026.
