The awards ceremony will feature awards for exceptional volunteer work, community projects and organizations contributing to the beautification of our city. Programs presenting awards this year include Front Yards in Bloom, Partners in Parks, Capital City Clean Up, Waste Management Services and Community Gardens.

The Edmonton in Bloom Awards celebrate the generous contributions of volunteers, gardeners, businesses, sponsors and community organizations that contribute to and drive efforts to green, beautify and strengthen Edmonton.

“Each year, the Edmonton in Bloom Awards shine a spotlight on the dedication of our community members who make our city more vibrant and welcoming,” said Claire Kroening, Front Yards in Bloom Program Coordinator. “We are excited to honor the collective efforts that have helped transform Edmonton into a place we are all proud to call home."

This year’s awards also celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Front Yards in Bloom program. A cherished tradition for gardeners, yard enthusiasts and community members, the program is a collaborative effort by the City of Edmonton, Edmonton Horticultural Society and CUPW - Local 30, along with others, to help cultivate Edmonton’s community spirit and enhance the city’s beauty.
