The Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS) and Feed the Soul YEG are excited to feature artist Jamelle Davis (JD) for a spin on our next Dining with Authors event, which we’re calling Dining with Artists. Born from a love affair with creativity, JDs journey as an artist transcends mere expression—it embodies a philosophy of life. Each piece he crafts is a testament to his devotion to originality, a quest to distill unique thoughts into tangible forms. JDs canvas becomes a playground where pop-art meets realism, where the boundaries of mediums blur in pursuit of innovation.

We gonna feed yuh belly, till yuh belly FULL

This event will start with a mural walking tour downtown. We will start at LuLu Lane, an alley recently transformed by local artists in an effort to make alleys more appealing and accessible. Then we’ll head to Ayco Cafe to see our second mural and enjoy a tasty treat. Then we’ll finish off our tour with a specially curated dinner from Mesob Habesha Fusion, who won Edify magazine’s best Ethiopian restaurant in 2022.
