Glory Hills (maskihkîy meskanaw) Conservation Land is a haven for wildlife just west of the City of Edmonton. A lake, forest, and meadows support deer, moose, and birds of all kinds. Between the work of our Conservation Land Stewards and volunteers, Glory Hills has seen a massive decrease in the number of invasive plants at this stunning land. At this event, while it is still young and easier to pull from the ground, we will remove as much Burdock as possible in order to create a better habitat for all.

We will meet at the land at 10:00 am sharp. We will start the day with a security and training meeting where we will review the tasks for the day, as well as, the risks and associated security measures before heading out into the field. Wear appropriate footwear and long pants, and bring a lunch, water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. If you have your own gloves to bring, we recommend that you do so, but otherwise tools and gloves will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
