FREE FUN for families with kids aged 4-12 although everyone is welcome and donations are encouraged!
What: Become an excellent nature detective with this festival-style event at the John Janzen Nature Centre! Explore the world of aquatic bugs with pond dipping. Learn about land reclamation and soil sampling with the University of Alberta. Play forest games with the Northern Forestry Centre. Build your own stick bug with Edmonton Forest School. There's so much to dig into!
Weather Details: Will run rain or shine - please dress for the weather. In the event of extreme weather, notice of cancellation will be posted on our Facebook page and in the Facebook Event Discussion.
Registration Details: Registration is completed on-site. We can only accommodate a limited number of families at these events. Be sure to arrive early to secure your family’s spot and make sure you have enough time to visit all the stations!
