Indigenous youth from across Alberta will engage for 10 days of competitive sport.

The Circle of Courage is a philosophy that integrates the best of Western educational thought with the wisdom of Indigenous cultures and emerging research on positive youth development.

The Circle of Courage is a philosophy which explains the Indigenous traditions that promote social harmony and personal achievement.

Belonging, Mastery, Independence, and Generosity are the components of the Circle of Courage – each promoting values that develop both the individual as well as the social structure.

The Circle of Courage promotes an environment of encouragement, empowerment, and acceptance – for all people.
