Summer in the City is a chance for Leduc families to get together outside in various locations enjoying all the fun Leduc has to offer.

Summer in the City is a wonderful opportunity for Leduc's Not for Profits to promote themselves and encourage residents to check out all the terrific programming options that are available in our community during the Fall. It's a one-stop shop where our residents can enjoy some Summer fun and also sign up for activities and opportunities that interest them starting in the Fall.

• There will be events and activities for all age groups from youth to families and senior citizens.

• The events hosted by the City will be free to residents and will offer something for everyone to enjoy and showcase our Not for Profits who help us build, celebrate, and support our growing community.

Location: Throughout the City of Leduc with main hubs including the Leduc Recreation Centre, Suntree Greenspace, Southfork Community, Alexandra Park, Corinthia Park, Leduc Boat Club, Bridgeport.

This event will include:

  1. Organization's showcase – like Party in Alexandra Park this will give our Not For Profits (NFPs) the chance to showcase themselves and the amazing opportunities they offer our residents as well as a chance where people can participate in onsite activations hosted by our NFP's to see if they are interested in signing up for the Fall/Winter sessions.
  2. Scheduled Activities – throughout each location the City and various other NFPs will collaborate on bringing enhanced activities to add excitement to each space and increase crowd size all while showcasing the space and the groups that operate there.
  3. Food Trucks: There will be food trucks on site where applicable. The City of Leduc will be responsible for scheduling and organizing the operation.
