Aging siblings and unfortunate roommates, Vanya and Sonia, bicker daily in their family home.
Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike by Christopher Durang and directed by Lauren Tamke
A young college student living on an island off BC, informs his family that he has arranged the sponsorship of a refugee from El Salvador as a class project. Set in 1990, while a devastating civil war raged in that country, this award-winning play explores what it means and feels like to relate to someone who has endured intense personal grief, and to consider how we ourselves would react.
