The Grindstone Comedy Fest presents two hilarious improvized performances from Chris Wilson, Clare McConnell, Wayne Jones & Kris Siddiqi

Chris Wilson

Chris Wilson is a current cast member of This Hour Has 22 Minutes and alumni of the Second City Mainstage in Toronto.  He is a 3x Canadian Comedy Award Winning sketch comedian, having won these awards as one half of sketch comedy duo Peter N’ Chris. Peter N’ Chris have performed at acclaimed festivals such as Just for Laughs, JLF42, San Francisco Sketchfest, and have created original videos for CollegeHumor. Chris was also a cast member of long-running Canadian sketch show, Royal Canadian Air Farce and wrote for several seasons of  The Irrelevant Show (CBC Radio 1).

Clare McConnell

Clare McConnell is a Canadian Screen Award nominated actor and comedian best known for portraying 'Effie Newsome' on the popular CBC series Murdoch Mysteries, Regina Simcoe on Slasher, Carrie in Fingernails, and Klingon Leader 'Dennas' on the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Discovery. She voices Iana in Ubisoft’s Rainbow 6: Siege and Clarice in Supermassive Games’ House of Ashes. She is also a Canadian Comedy Award nominated alumna of the Second City Mainstage.

Wayne Jones & Kris Siddiqi

Kris & Wayne are a critically-acclaimed improv comedy duo from Toronto, ON, featuring Kris Siddiqi (Netflix' I Woke Up A Vampire, Molly's Game) and Wayne Jones (Canadian Comedy Award-nominee). Their festival credits include the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and the Edmonton Fringe Festival. Kris has won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Improviser, while Wayne was nominated for Best Live Production for his show "Colin Mochrie & Wayne Jones". They can be seen performing together monthly, in The White Rhino, one of Toronto's longest running and most popular improv comedy shows.
