More Information

Join us for Edmonton's first-ever National African Descent Youth Summit! The summit will feature engaging panel discussions, practical workshops, inspiring speakers, and more.

Get ready to dive into the National African Descent Youth Summit (NADY) excitement! It's a high-energy 2-day event tailored for 300 youth aged 15 to 30 from all over Canada and beyond. We're tackling big questions like "Who We Are," "How We Live," and "Where We Are Going" – and you're invited to join the conversation!

At NADY, you'll be part of lively discussions, interactive workshops, and fun activities. It's your chance to explore the ups and downs, the challenges and opportunities that shape our identities, cultures, and heritage. Get ready to dream big and chase those aspirations!

This summit is extremely important because it's all about facing the tough stuff head-on. We're discussing issues like racism, discrimination, and the fight for representation. But don't worry – we're not just talking, we're taking action! With practical skills, knowledge, and awesome networks, NADY is here to help you break through those barriers and reach for the stars! And did we mention the incredible lineup of panels and workshops? From celebrating African identity to diving into history and leadership across different fields, this summit is packed with must-see sessions.
