Opening Act: The New Standards House Trio

The New Standards House Trio proudly unveils their original compositions amongst a songbook of ‘Sounds of the City’, assembled from nearly 100 sets with local musicians. They boast a sound that is reflective of Edmonton’s diverse music scene and their weekly jam. Their sound is, at first, warm and inviting – but below the surface lies a complexity born from a language between the three players. Each member contributes to the catalogue of repertoire that embraces contemporary pop, folk, and R&B sensibilities, and still, isn’t afraid to SWING; crafting a sound uniquely their own.
