Supporting Indigenous businesses through the federal procurement process.

In conjunction with Indigenous Peoples Day, Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC) will be hosting an information session for Indigenous Businesses in Edmonton.

PAC, as part of Public Services and Procurement Canada, is here to make it easier for Indigenous businesses to bid on federal contracting opportunities and increase supplier diversity in federal procurement.

The aim of the session will be to provide key information on the federal procurement process, upcoming procurement opportunities and Indigenous programs. It will also include time for you to participate in discussions around how we can support Indigenous businesses and organizations in working with the federal government now and into the future.

The topics for this session will include:

· key information and updates on federal procurement for Indigenous businesses

· information on upcoming federal procurement opportunities

· support services and programs to assist Indigenous businesses and organizations

· discussions on how the federal government can support Indigenous businesses and organizations in participating in federal procurements
