More Information

Welcome to the 28th annual Edmonton Jewish Film Festival (EJFF) where Jewish perspectives come to life.

From May 21 to May 30, we invite you to discover, connect, and engage with us, in person and virtually. Join the conversation, as we explore and reflect on stories, traditions, and history, from a wide and varied Jewish world.

This year, we offer four feature films in-person and four virtually. Our in-person films will be shown at two locations:

Metro Cinema Garneau Theatre (Tuesday, May 21 & Sunday, May 26)

Capitol Theatre in Fort Edmonton Park (Tuesday, May 28 & Thursday, May 30)

In addition to great films, we also have a few very special events for you. On Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m., join us for our Fiddler on the Roof sing-along with special guest Michele Miller. Come in costume (if you like) watch the 1971 classic film, and sing-along. On Thursday, May 30, close the festival with us at our screening of Less Than Kosher, an offbeat all Canadian Jewish comedy. Shaina Silver-Baird, co-creator/co-writer, and star of the film will be there for a Q and A after the screening.
