Kusamono, a Japanese botanical art form, are potted arrangement of flowers, shrubs, grasses and other plants in unique pots. Create your own kusamono with tips for care and maintenance.

The workshop will cover:

  • Introduction & brief history of kusamono
  • Principles of design
  • Kusamono creation
  • Care & maintenance
  • Workshop kit contains:

  • Plants for building kusamono (the types of plants will vary with the season, i.e. spring, summer, fall, winter).
  • Kusamono Pot
  • Soil & top dressing
  • Care card
