Join us for Complimentary BRUNCH as a panel of local filmmakers discuss the state of Edmonton’s indie filmmaking scene.

Take one look at the films screening at this year’s edition of NorthwestFest, and it’s becoming crystal clear: we may not get the ‘Fargo’-type shows shooting here, but Edmonton is becoming a hotbed of indie/doc filmmaking, with an emphasis on personal stories. We’re also seeing more filmmakers staying put in E-Town, culminating in a new kind of filmmaking community: filmmakers making films and telling stories — their way.

Join us for an engaging panel of local filmmakers as they discuss the pros and cons of making films in what continues to be considered a ‘non-traditional’ filmmaking market.

COMPLIMENTARY Food & Beverages will be served! Admission is FREE, but you must RSVP below to receive lunch.
