A young married couple decide to kick their hilariously bad swearing habit before their baby is born but that’s not their only obstacle.

The Swearing Jar by Kate Hewlett and directed by Ursula Pattloch

A young college student living on an island off BC, informs his family that he has arranged the sponsorship of a refugee from El Salvador as a class project. Set in 1990, while a devastating civil war raged in that country, this award-winning play explores what it means and feels like to relate to someone who has endured intense personal grief, and to consider how we ourselves would react.
