The Rhythmic Odyssey... Live music concert Taqsim Driver by La Fanfare Couche Tard!

Embark on a musical voyage like no other as La Fanfare Couche Tard presents the live music concert Taqsim Driver , a groundbreaking fusion of tradition and modernity in world music. On April 25th, 7pm, at the Auditorium of the Campus Saint Jean, the vibrant rhythms and soul-stirring melodies of this exceptional project will enchant audiences as it tours the Alliances Françaises of Canada!

Taqsim Driver is the new 2023 project from the Fanfare Couche-Tard . This show is inspired by music from all over the world (Lebanese dabké, Albanian tallava or Azeri mugham, for example). Taqsim Driver seeks to make samples of various traditional instruments (derbuka, kerkabou, saz...), which resonate with contemporary music (dance, trap, rap...) to feed a rich musical dialogue between tradition and modernity. From continent to continent, the group invites you to travel and discover in an energetic and joyful trance.
