FAVA presents an artist talk with Kyle Edward Ball, writer & director of viral horror movie sensation Skinamarink.

"Kyle Edward Ball is a horror filmmaker from Edmonton, Alberta. In 2017 he began a web series called "NIGHTMARES" where he re-created real peoples dreams and nightmares using minimalism and old Hollywood inspired trick photography.

His first feature length film "Skinamarink" was released in theaters on January 13ᵗʰ 2023. It became a viral sensation and grossed over two million dollars at the domestic box office.

Kyle was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at the age of 20. He is still based out of Edmonton, Alberta and is looking forward to working on his second feature film."
