Conversation on the growing population of Edmonton and how we adapt
Over 100,000 people moved into Edmonton in the last two years. That's like having the entire City of Red Deer (the third largest city in Alberta) move into our city. Rapid population growth is very exciting but it also can create major pressure. Do we have the necessary infrastructure to support everyone? If not, what exactly do we need and how will we fund that growth. These are some of the questions we will be discussing on April 3rd.
I will be joined by Councillor Erin Rutherford, MLA Brooks Arcand-Paul, MP Kelly McCauley, Edmonton Catholic School Board Trustee Terry Harris, and representatives from the Edmonton Public School Advocacy Network.
