E2S is proud to announce that March 19th 2024 has been Royally Proclaimed by the City of Edmonton as Two Spirit Awareness to Celebration Day! Join us in the proclamation, taking place this year on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 – in alignment with spring equinox!

We're calling upon our relations, government officials, policy makers, hereditary leaders, and allies to proclaim and celebrate Tuesday, March 19, the spring equinox, as Two Spirit Awareness to Celebration Day! Join in the celebration happening across Turtle Island, a chance to honour the amazing power and resurgence of Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer people worldwide. To mark Two-Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQQIA+ Celebration and Awareness Day, the E2S is holding a gathering at CHEW!

Doors: 4pm

Featuring: Opening prayer, guest speakers, flag raising, & performances

Light snacks and refreshments provided
