As we approach the sacred month of Ramadan, our hearts are heavy with sorrow for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Instead of the customary celebrations during this sacred month, we find ourselves grappling with the harsh realities of witnessing a genocide. Even amidst these trials, our hearts hold steadfast in hope, relying on Allah's boundless mercy and seeking solace in His divine wisdom. In acknowledgment of these challenges, IslamicFamily will deliberately steer away from any form of celebration, embodying our values of allyship towards those facing systemic oppression.

Our focus will be on creating an intentional platform for the community to connect around the theme of "Hope & Home", to learn about how our different services are connected to the notion of home, the importance of affordable housing, and how you can support these different initiatives. We are fully aware that the genocide in Palestine, the war in Sudan, and crises around the world are at the forefront of our community's minds during the Month of Giving. In no way do we intend to steer your attention away from these causes. Instead, we aim to provide a space to gather and learn about ways you can support the needs of our clients, all of which are rooted in our commitment and responsibility towards the community we serve locally.
