Join Deaf actor Bo Hårdell of Denmark's 5005 Teater for a hands-on workshop focusing on International Sign. International Sign is a constructed language, designed to assist the international Deaf community for finding a standard language to communicate with when hosting meetings and gatherings with delegates from many different countries. It has also been adopted by the performance groups within Europe to allow their performers to be understood and appreciated widely across the European Union. This workshop will cover the basics of communication and how International Sign can apply to Deaf performance.
