Join Joanne Weber (Deaf Crows Collective) and her collective of professional Deaf actors and Deaf youth as they present and discuss their new work, The Door Project.
An multi-year work in progress involving collaboration professional Deaf actors with Deaf youth, the project explores ways to tap into Deaf students’ experiences and the stories they want to share with their families and communities. This presentation will show a live except of the new work in development, created through the processes associated with playbuilding, with the goal of supporting the development of theatre opportunities for Deaf youth.
