EDI Recruitment 101

In this workshop we will be discussing the importance of inclusive recruitment strategies and current best practices. Additionally, we will be defining unconscious and conscious bias by unpacking the negative impacts of bias when recruiting.

By the end of this workshop participants should be able to:

  • Conscious and unconscious bias in recruitment.
  • Gain an understanding of inclusive job postings look like and take away specifics on how to make job postings more inclusive.
  • All breakout sessions include statistics related to the topics, key words and definitions, resources from the What Works Toolkit and an interactive activity that encourages you to think about the topic(s) in creative ways!
  • Whether you're an entrepreneur, business owner, or HR professional, this event will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to embrace diversity and create a more equitable workplace. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn, network, and make a positive impact on your organization!
