Celebrate Family Day in the Arts District

join the Edmonton Arts Council downtown for free family arts programming. In partnership with three Arts District organizations – Citadel Theatre, Art Gallery of Alberta, and Winspear Centre – enjoy a variety of family-friendly performers, including drumming, circus arts, and theatre.

Family Day fun includes:

A musical adaptation of Cinderella by Alberta Musical Theatre at the Citadel Theatre (9828 101A Ave) from 12 – 1 pm & 3 – 4 pm.

The high energy Hula Hoop Circus will delight with a circus arts show at the Art Gallery of Alberta (2 Sir Winston Churchill Square) from 1 – 2 pm, and will be roving on Churchill Square from 3 – 4 pm.

Rhythm Rhythm Rhythm will lead a facilitated drum circle with Lucas Coffey at the Winspear Centre (4 Sir Winston Churchill Square) from 2 – 3pm.

Citadel Theatre

Performances will also take place at the Art Gallery of Alberta and the Winspear Centre
