Who's Invited: All students registered in our Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, all student members of eHUB and any student employees of eHUB companies, eCLUB members, plus any other University of Alberta students, staff, and faculty who are interested in entrepreneurship!

When and Where: The next meetup will be held at eHUB (9007 HUB Mall, North Campus) on Thursday, January 18th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

Why you should attend: Entrepreneurship can be a lonely career path - we're trying to change that! Having a great network of friends, colleagues, and mentors is a key part of business success, especially for founders. Events like this will help you get connected to other participants in the Certificate program, other student founders, and folks in the ecosystem that can help you achieve your entrepreneurial goals.

What to expect: We'll be bringing in a guest speaker on the subject of Pitching. Story telling is a key part of launching and growing your startup! What makes you unique? Why should people pay attention? What is your "hook" as a founder/company that will get you a second meeting, land your first investor, first sale, or first employee? This will be a fun and informal workshop designed with all experience levels in mind.

After the presentation, we'll save some time for getting to know each other and sharing some food and conversation (pizza will be provided!)
